My big boy
When we took Josh to kindy, I expected he'd be all clinging to my legs - so many children, and they're scary creatures to him. But he went straight to a table and started drawing. Then while I was filling out the forms, he went with daddy to to some pasting. Once I was done, I asked him if it was ok for us to go, and he was perfectly happy with that. Indeed, when we didn't leave immediately, he pushed at my legs and said "go on"! It was so funny. When I went to pick him up afterwards, he was as happy as Larry. The teacher said he did have a big cry when he realised I'd actually gone, but then was fine. He told me about his day, and even said "bye" to the teachers *and* to other kids as well.

So both of them - Jesara and Josh - super-shy until the first day of kindy, then all of a sudden take to the wing. :D
